Brian Sabo grew up in the industry and handles all the day to day business, from floor sweeper, to driver, to CEO. Brian prides himself on efficiency and quality in all aspects of business. As a board member of the Greater Cleveland Flower Growers, he takes a proactive approach to the health of the green industry. He is also vice-president of the Perry Madison Green Industry and president of the Truckers Helping Hands both of which are community focused groups. 

Having built his own  timber frame home and barn, he now represents Atlantic Timberframes and Moosehead Cedar Log Homes. Making use of his diverse skills, Brian launched a new business venture in 2011 - Haul Your Horses LLC. In the off season he has transported show, competition and private horses since 1986, working as driver and a groom. Jim Sabo has been in the horticulture field for more than 60 years, much of that time spent as a nationally recognized rhododendron hybridizer and grower. Jim oversees Sabo's mum production and vegetable crops. He is also a charter member of the International Propagators' Association and has a passion for growing succulents.

 

Donna Sabo, a retired teacher, helps with bookkeeping and receptionist duties, she is an active member of the Madison/Geneva Roundtable Study Group.

 

Barb Sabo joined the team in 1994 focusing on sales, advertising and bookkeeping. Her current focus is raising children, creating signs and helping out on busy weekends. She is also a registered Massage Therapist and shares this skill with Sabo customer's during special events.

 

Nancy Brockway oversees production and wholesale. She is an avid gardener, designer, sailor and sharpshooter. Nancy is our resident expert on herbs and edible flowers; a biker, who enjoys gardening for wildlife and combining plants for successful container gardening.

 

Cathee Thomas  manages our garden center, oversees the perennial and nursery stock inventory, and brings with her decades of experience collecting and growing rare and unusual plants. She is an artist, writer, and instructor; designing hanging baskets, window boxes and patio pots.  During the growing season, listen for her live Garden Chats with Garth Cornell on WKKY  Country 104.7FM Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

 

Carole Sanzotta is yet another gardening enthusiast on Sabo's production and retail staff, proving that the Sabo's staff really does love plants and people.
